POP UP studio/showroom in Oakleigh
UP DATE: NOV 2021 The Oakleigh POP UP has finished and I am again working from my studio in the NIcholas Building in Melbournes CBD.
What a year we have all experienced, filled with changes, disruptions and challenges. I have not been able to work as usual in my city studio. My daily commute was not possible and I scrambled to make a space at home that I could work from. As winter moved in and a further shut down became imminent in Melbourne I moved my temporary studio to a shop front in Oakleigh.
It has been lovely to breathe some life into a space, create a new work routine and discover a new area. Working much closer to home has been a gift and now I am finally ready to share this POP UP space with you all.
I have decided to to be open by appointment. That way I can give visitors my full attention while adhering to covid safe guidelines. You are welcome to visit with a friend or family members. I have set everything up so it is easy to change or cancel your appointment at any time. No stress, no expectations. You can also drop in if you are in the area but I will be prioritising booked appointments.
You can visit my new space at 11 Chester Street Oakleigh 3166 where I will have a selection of new works as well as some of my classics. I am also planning to add new pieces as they are finished. I even have some lovely Christmas decorations and a few other surprises that I will announce as they happen. Everything is in flux this year so I’m just leaning in while looking forward to welcoming visitors to my new space.
