A glimpse into my quiet studio world.

Film maker Mark Newbound spent a few hours in my studio this past June and this lovely, quiet and thoughtful film is the result. I can’t thank him enough for contacting me and including me in a series of films on artists of the Nicholas Building, supported by the City of Melbourne. All of his intriguing films are on vimeo and such a delight to watch.

I’m so impressed by the way Mark was able to convey what it is like to make a piece from beginning to end and the quiet focused way that makes up so much of my time in the studio. The earrings that I made during the filming are now available from my store, made from pure gold they are formed by hammering the gold carefully into an antique matrix that I bought during travels in India many years ago.
